Coming into Eastman from Hwy 117
…turn left onto Oak Street (Hwy 23/87, Cochran - Eastman Hwy). Turn right at 2nd Avenue (corner of McDonalds/Marathon). Follow 2nd Street around the curve (past the Post Office and Pruett Heating and Air). Turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (formerly Herman Avenue). Follow to Peabody Complex. Turn into the first parking lot.
From Telfair County Coming into Eastman from Hwy 341 …turn right onto Eastman - Rhine Hwy (Hwy 117/ 87). Turn left onto Legion Drive. Turn right onto Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (formerly Herman Avenue). Follow to Peabody Complex (should be right in front of you). Turn into the parking lot on the farther end.
From Macon/Atlanta I-75 South to I-16 East. From I-16, exit onto Sgoda Rd –Cochran/Eastman (Exit 12), turn right off exit ramp. Sgoda Rd merges into Hwy 23 & Hwy 87. Go through Cochran staying on Hwy 23/87 til it deadends. Take a left at the caution light turning again onto Hwy 23/87. Go approximately 17 miles to Eastman. Turn right at 2nd Avenue (corner of McDonalds/Marathon). Follow 2nd street around the curve (past the Post Office and Pruett Heating and Air). Turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (formerly Herman Avenue). Follow to Peabody Complex. Turn into the first parking lot. |
